Climbing structure, rainbow themed canopy and den building

We returned to Dorchester Primary School to install a combination of elements for Phase 2 of their playground installation. The variety of equipment keeps children of all abilities busy - from pebble and sand pits to mud kitchen and forest school areas. The different textures and areas provide an interesting play space for the children with the addition of colour from the canopy over the sand pit and friendship circle. The friendship circle seating and canopy covered sand pit provide quieter areas for the children to socialise, whilst the pebble pit, den building and mud kitchen areas encourage interaction, use of motor skills and building coordination. The ‘Rainbow Class’ the playground was designed for were delighted with their rainbow themed friendship circle and sand pit roof and panels. The colourful canopy design casts beautiful shadows on the deck and sand below, perfect for sparking children’s imagination!
