Rainbow canopy climbing

We had a lot of fun designing this colourful tower based climbing structure for Pembury House Nursery to replace their old and tired structure. The rainbow canopy panels are a firm favourite in nurseries - casting magical colours and patterns onto the surface below. It was a specific request from the nursery team that we provided larger den platforms, these are linked by a solid bridge with wavy wall sides featuring peep holes with different nature designs. The space underneath is perfect for creating dens. It was important for us to consider different ways for the children to access the structure, for those that like a little more challenge there is a net and as an easier option, a set of stairs, and of course the slide for the most fun way to get down! An important developmental step for children of this age to improve their grip and grasp, strengthening their hand, wrist and arm muscles – to aid this we included a small set of acrobat bars which are ideal for gripping, swinging and dangling. A rubber mulch safety surface underneath has finished the play space off - a perfect colourful and creative climbing structure for the nursery children to enjoy for years to come!
