Natural climbing, outdoor classroom and basket swing

Woolenwick Infant and Nursery School got in touch with us when they were ready to make several improvements to their playground. We were invited to replace the old tired play space and trim trail, with a new natural climbing structure. The climbing structure features curved monkey bars, balance beams, a wobbly ladder, a rope bridge, stainless steel slide with a canopy roof platform. The canopy roof was rainbow themed to add some colour and interest to the area. The children were thrilled to see a basket swing arrive in their playground, this dynamic and inclusive piece of equipment is proving very popular! The school also wanted to add a versatile covered space that could be used as an outdoor classroom and performance area and offer a little extra protection from sun and rain, We installed a beautiful 4m square colourful canopy with a decked base that the canopy casts colourful shadows onto - these spark the children’s imagination.
