Colourful outdoor classroom

Sarisbury Junior School invited us back for phase 2 of their playground transformation as the parting legacy of their fabulous Head Teacher Andrew Stockton who retired in July having been a Head Teacher at Sarisbury for over 20 years. To replace their old rotten shelter we designed and installed a beautiful flora and fauna outdoor classroom with ramp access. The canopy roof casts beautiful shadows onto the decked base below, encouraging interactive learning for the children. This outdoor teaching space really adds to the learning environments in the school and ensures that children from all abilities can be involved. We added thin decorative robinia around the sides of the outdoor classroom which gives it a unique and bespoke feel to it as no two pieces of robinia are the same. This, with the addition of benches around the outside make it a really special learning space for the children.
