Trim trail and canopy

Estates Bursar Rachel got in touch in early 2023, having worked with us at a previous school she was keen to invite us in to discuss what we could do for one of the prep school spaces in the school. The area was set at the back of the school grounds and was in need of a little attention. It was a long and fairly narrow space containing a small pond, an old shed and some benches. The desire was to transform this into an engaging space for the lower school pupils to use for active play and also outdoor learning. The school carefully dealt with the clearance of the wildlife in the pond and our team filled and levelled it ready for the new installation. Our design included a natural climbing trail running past an existing tree and leading to a beautiful den at one end, at the other end of the space we installed a stunning outdoor classroom with side panels, decked base and shelving. The area was completed with a den building kit and full resurface in bonded mulch, ensuring that it can be accessed all year round.
