Climbing, canopy and road track

Having worked with St John Henry Newman previously in the summer of 2022,we were absolutely delighted to be invited back to work on their second play area for the reception children. Being a brand new school we were starting with a blank canvas. The brief was to create an engaging space for the younger children to enjoy, that would help them develop their gross motor skills, imagination and in which to be creative and explore through messy play. Our design included a cycle track, scramble climber with acrobatic bars, mud kitchen with pulleys, a cosy den, cycle shelter and quiet seating spaces, this created wonderful zones and offered something for all of the children to enjoy.
