Reception and year 1 playground transformation

Halifax Academy approached us with the intention of transforming their separate reception and year 1 playgrounds using all different elements - from climbing structures to dens, pebble pits, mud kitchens and colourful canopies. We worked closely with them to provide a mix of interactive stations for the children and create a fully immersive and inclusive playground for the younger children in the school. The playground has two main areas and combined features: a tipi den, a snug den, a mud kitchen, water play, pebble play, parasols, an outdoor classroom, den building, welly storage and finally two different climbing structures - one with balance beams and overhead ropes and the other with a climbing wall and slide.
